What We Collect

Registered accounts: Username, email address, hashed password, game statistics (score, wins, games played), avatar configuration, and the date your account was created.

Guest sessions: A temporary session ID and any game-related data (player name, score) that exists only for the duration of your session and is not permanently stored.

Technical data: Standard server logs including IP addresses and request metadata for security and debugging purposes. These are not shared with third parties and are deleted regularly.

What We Don't Collect

We do not collect payment information (Clipser.io is free), browsing history outside of our service, location data, or any personally sensitive information beyond what is listed above.

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with advertisers or third-party marketing services. Ever.

Cookies & Local Storage

Session cookie: A single session cookie is set when you visit the site to manage your login state. This is essential for the site to function and cannot be disabled.

Local storage: Your avatar configuration and game preferences are stored locally in your browser. This data never leaves your device unless you are logged in, in which case it is also synced to your account.

We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or third-party analytics cookies.

How We Use Your Data

Your data is used exclusively to:

· Provide and improve the game experience.

· Maintain your account, statistics, and avatar across sessions.

· Ensure platform security and prevent abuse.

· Display your username and score on leaderboards (this is part of the game - your score is public).

Your Rights

Access: You can view all data associated with your account in your profile settings.

Deletion: You can request full deletion of your account and all associated data at any time by emailing contact@clipser.io. We will process deletion requests within 7 days.

Correction: You can update your username and other account details directly from your profile page.

Data Security

Passwords are stored as bcrypt hashes - we never store plain-text passwords and cannot recover them. All connections are secured via HTTPS. We take reasonable technical measures to protect your data from unauthorized access.
